Armadillo of Autism

An armadillo to represent autism.

I remember trying to compare autism to an animal. I used my autistic traits to help me.
Whenever I feel upset, scared, or theatened, I tend to shutdown, or "close up", and I become quiet and unresponsive.
After thinking a bit more, I came up with the idea of an armadillo to represent autism.

The shell took forever to draw and color.
The puzzle pattern was pretty tedious, especially between the armadillo's bands.
And the one light blue puzzle piece is meant to represent the main autism symbol.
